This challenge is to visually capture your and others’ experiences, in the moment, using short videos.

You can do this with both the Twitter app and the Instagram app by tapping on the camera icon from within those apps and selecting video. But to really score top marks you might want to try using Vine https://vine.co/

  1. You will need to have the “Vine" app on your phone (not available for iPad)
    1. App store/Google Play store
    2. Search for ‘Vine'
    3. Install
  3. Open Vine and "log in with Twitter" (you don’t need to give phone numbers or access to contacts if it asks - Vine still works without them)
  4. Find a couple of willing volunteer to give you a 6 second interview
  5. Open Vine and interview a couple of folk
  6. This could be a great contribution to the #whywedoresearch campaign
  7. Post the vine video to vine and to twitter - remember to add a # tag if appropriate
