This challenge is to capture and share your visual experience…it might be a person, a slide from a presentation or some action going on in the room - whatever you want to remember or to share. Have a look at some of the #WhyWeDoResearch photos for some inspiration, maybe you could do your own #WhyWeDoResearch photo.

For this challenge you are going to take the photos from within the Twitter app on your phone or tablet. You can also do this by starting from your camera app.

Using the twitter app on your phone or tablet

  1. From your “Home" screen simply click the camera icon next to “What’s happening?
  2. Take a photo
  3. If you like it, tap the tick
  4. Click on the photo to play with the filters and make it awesome
  5. When you've “Done" with the filters add some text, a #hashtag if appropriate and “Tweet"

The Challenge
Share at least 10 “work" photos with #NWRDSoMe or #NWRDChat (and perhaps #WhyWeDoResearch)

NB If you are interested in sharing photos you might want to check out Instagram https://instagram.com/, it is a similar service to twitter but focuses on photographs. It has some very easy to use filters that can make your photography really shine and it can also share to Twitter and Facebook too.
